Updates for Shedding: A Megan Follows Fansite

NEW 'STACKING' POSTER, BRIEF MEGAN MENTION IN THE NEWS & 'POOKA' COMPLETED

Just a little update. I added a neat (sort of vintage) poster of Megan's 1987 movie Stacking to the gallery. If you haven't seen this film yet, you can watch some clips of it on our YouTube channel. Megan, who shot this movie in between the first two Anne movies, co-starred with an excellent cast which included Christine Lahti, Frederic Forrest and Peter Coyote.

Also, there was a brief Megan mention in the news this week. Canadian filmmaker Ingrid Veninger wrote a little piece for CTV.ca in which she recounts her Toronto International Film Festival memories and they include her friend Megan. You can read the whole piece on CTV's website.

Oh, and according to its IMDb page, Maurey Loeffler's short film Pooka has now been completed. Hopefully, we can now look forward to a release date in the near future.

CANADIAN TV ALERTS

No news to report, but two of Megan's TV movies will air on Canadian TV at the end of the month. Booky Makes Her Mark and What Katy Did will both air on August 28 on CBC and CHCH, respectively.

NEW FOOTAGE OF MEGAN'S ANNE AUDITION

The official Anne of Green Gables website has posted a small clip of previously unseen footage from Megan's famous Anne audition. It seems to be an earlier version of the scene where Matthew dies. Just like the rest of the audition video, this new clip is fascinating to watch.

You can follow the link above to watch it directly on the site. They have also posted clips of other actresses' auditions. So odd to think they could have been the Anne if Sullivan & cie hadn't gone back to Megan for another audition...

CANADIAN TV ALERT: 'SHANIA: A LIFE IN EIGHT ALBUMS'

Good news!

This Sunday (May 30), CBC will air yet another one of Megan's TV movies. This time, it will be Shania: A Life in Eight Albums, in which Megan plays Shania's mother. For her performance, Megan received a Gemini nomination in 2006.
